Annual Call for Entires for local adjudication.
Next dates: April 27 & April 28, 2012
Application Deadline: 4:00 pm, Friday, April 13, 2012
Fee: $35.00
Location: Gordon Snelgrove Gallery, U of S Campus
The adjudication process, individual critiques, artist talks and a public reception will take place in the gallery. The Gordon Snelgrove Art Gallery is supported by the University of Saskatchewan and receives funding from the Museums Association of Saskatchewan and Saskatchewan Lotteries.
Throughout the province of Saskatchewan, local adjudications are hosted and funded partly by Arts Councils and by OSAC through Saskatchewan Lotteries. These programs promote the growth of culture by providing opportunities for visual artists and craftspeople to exhibit their work, and to develop critical skills through participation with adjudicators.
Some artists may also have the opportunity to submit their work to be chosen to tour throughout the province in the “Saskatchewan... Art on the Move Program.” Works tour for two years and artists receive exhibitions fees based on the CARFAC minimum fee schedule.
The adjudication process includes an application submission, installation of art works, adjudication, artist talk, individual critiques and a public reception. All activities take place at the U of S Snelgrove Art Gallery.
