Teach English as a Second or Foreign Language

• Teach English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) ~ 4 weeks held at the University of Saskatchewan Campus: A shorter training certificate that prepares you to teach English overseas. It is also available as a Distance option through the CERTESL program.

• Certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language (CERTESL) ~ Distance Delivery ~ Prepares and qualifies you to teach English as a Second Language (ESL) in Canada and abroad. This program designed by award-winning distance specialists to help you teach immigrant, overseas, Aboriginal and other learners of English as a second language.

• Additional Qualification for K-12 teachers:  If you are currently a teacher in the K-grade 12 system, the CERTESL program may qualify you for an Additional Qualification Certificate.
