Prairie Horticulture Cerfificate (PHC) Streams
To obtain your Certificate, complete the required number of core courses, together with the courses specified for a particular stream, and maintain an overall weighted average of 60%; a total of nine courses equivalent to 360 hours (36 credit weights) represents the minimum requirement.

PHC is co-operatively offered through a consortium of four Western Canadian educational institutions: Assiniboine Community College (Brandon, Manitoba), Olds College (Olds, Alberta), the University of Manitoba, and the University of Saskatchewan. You may apply for admission through your home institution and once admitted, register for any courses offered. All courses taken from participating institutions are treated as if they had been taken from the home institution.
