Business and Leadership Programs

Explore your leadership capacity with like-minded people. Our courses incorporate dynamic and relevant group discussions to help you explore different ways of bringing your skills to life in your workplace and provide valuable networking opportunities. Instructors are highly-qualified with years of work-based experience to help bridge theory and practical application.

  • Leadership Development Program: A foundational course that will help increase your ability to lead a team, organization or business in an environment of constant change.
  • Leadership for Frontline Supervisors: As organizations change, so do the roles, responsibilities and demands of frontline supervisors. This program is particularly relevant to anyone in a new supervisory position.
  • Leading Change in Changing Times: Rather than manage change, adopt an approach of leading change. Step out in front and embrace change as an opportunity both professionally and personally.
  • Life Balance Leadership: Teams and individuals who pause to tackle issues of workload make more thoughtful, strategic and sustainable choices. When you reduce the impact of overload and overwhelm, you generate stronger corporate results while creating a more satisfying work and life experience for all.
  • Tomorrow's Workplace–Leading the Millennial Generation: With four generations occupying positions, workplace dynamics have become increasingly challenging. Each generation has its own unique qualities. To successfully build high performing teams, we need to create an environment that leverages the strengths of different generations.
  • Emotional Intelligence–The Other Side of Smart: Growing evidence suggests that the range of abilities now commonly known as Emotional Intelligence (EQ) play a key role in determining success in life and in the workplace. Unlike IQ, EQ can be improved through education and practice.
  • Destination Coach & Coaching Certification: Explore your own coaching style and open yourself to new ways of being a leader. Destination Coach helps you unlock your potential and gives you tools to serve your clients well.
  • The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People®: Offered through partnership with the FranklinCovey organization, this signature program introduces you to Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People in helping to achieve better results in making people more effective–from part-time receptionists to top level executives.
  • Emerging Technologies—Learning How to Use Social Media: Collaborative online social media tools such as Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube are gaining attention in both education and business marketing. This course explores such tools and demonstrates the impact they have in promoting learner or client engagement.
  • Facilitating Online Group Interaction: When people think of online facilitation, they tend to focus more on technology than engagement. This interactive workshop explores challenges and unique opportunities when facilitating training or meetings in an online environment.
  • Technical Writing: Learn how to apply a systematic approach to improving the quality, structure and effectiveness of your technical writing skills.
  • Developing your Presentation Skills: Gives you an opportunity to identify and explore your own personal presentation style. You will look at the elements of good electronic presentations and integrate this into your own content area.
