Gardening & Horticulture Programs
- Prairie Horticulture Certificate (PHC): A distance certificate program for the prairie environment. Study in four specialized streams: Landscaping & Arboriculture, Fruit & Vegetable Production, Nursery Crop Production or Greenhouse Crop Production. Courses are offered three terms per year.
- University of Saskatchewan Master Gardener Certificate: Consists of short term workshops and some distance study options. Learn the art and science of gardening, access current horticultural information, socialize with others and share your knowledge with your community. Start anytime and take as long as you need to finish.
- Hort Week: Offered every July and provides informative workshops, classes, tours and lectures. They are open to all gardening enthusiasts from beginners to masters. Topics include organic gardening, plant care, water gardens and landscaping.
- Spring Renewal Workshops: Spring Renewal Gardening Workshops are held in March and are now offered in both Saskatoon and Regina.
- Projects and Events: Features up and coming events and information on what our Master Gardeners are doing in our communities.
